Season of Giving looks a little different this year, but we’re still hoping to make a big impact by supporting local organizations that, in turn, can help families across the district—including our RLC students and their families.
We’re pleased to partner with these local organizations: Tolt UCC Food Pantry (Carnation), Holy Innocents Food Pantry (Duvall) & Empower Youth Network.
How to Help or Receive Help: Scan the QR codes on the flyer below for more information, including a list of the most needed food pantry items AND a list of resources if your family needs assistance.

Eight entries are advancing to the Council competition—congrats to Edith H., Lavender C., Mary M. K., Mabel S., Maya L., Dominic K., Penelope K., and Eva P.!
Each entry was judged on three criteria: Interpretation of Theme, Creativity, and Technical Skill with the most weight given to Interpretation of Theme. Judges were only given an artist’s grade range, artist title, artist statement, & art piece.
Thank you to all our talented artists for sharing your creativity with us. Stay tuned for details about the Reflections Gala in January. RLC PTSA Reflections finalists will be celebrated alongside other finalists district-wide.
Join us for Pottery Night, one of RLC’s favorite family traditions and biggest PTSA fundraiser of the year, on Thursday, November 13th, from 5-8pm in the MPR.
A variety of bisqueware pottery items will be available for purchase during the event, along with concessions. If you’ve preordered items, you can pick them up at the Preorder Table when you arrive.
All glazing supplies are provided by the RLC PTSA—just bring your creativity! Please note that all painting must be completed during the event. We’ll take care of the final coat of clear glazing, firing, and packaging, and your finished pieces will be ready for pickup by Winter Break.
In addition, all RLC Student Reflections entries will be displayed outside of the MPR, with finalists advancing to the Riverview PTSA Council competition noted.
Come enjoy an evening of art, fun, and community—while supporting a great cause!

Donations can be made by cash, check, or card (online only). Here’s the link to share for online donations: Read-A-Thon Donation Link.
While prizes will be awarded based on Reading Achievements, online donors should specify which RLC Student they’re cheering on with their donation – or simply write ‘general support’ if you’re not supporting a specific student.
